Helene you were born in Montreal Canada. Were you also raised there and do you speak French?

Yes I was raised in Montreal and am fluent in french. My theory is that I am who I am partly because I grew up in a multi-lingual, multi cultural background. French is a different language alltogether and when I speak it,
my personality changes.
In reading the article in the DQ Times I noticed you mentioned some marshmallow stuff you enjoyed eating as a child. Do you remember "fluffer nutter' sandwiches?
Hmmm. I know what you're talking about but I never ate them. It was a rice crispy marshmallow treat that I was addicted too. LOL
Do you like sports and do you have a favorite sport to watch or play?
I'm a fanatic about surfing; unfortunately I don't have the time to get very good at it. I was a gymnast in highschool and that kind of stuck. I'm terrible with a racket but if it requires the full body movement you've got me hooked.Combine full body with water and I'm there. Swimming, synchronized swimming, diving board diving, surfing, wind surfing, ice skating, trampoline (love catching air),snowboarding (badly), skiing (badly) aerobics, hiking, and was a bit of a whiz on the uneven parallel bars. I LIVE FOR THE MOMENTS I can grab to go surfing. I like watching hockey but the season is too long to keep me interested, I'd rather be doing stuff than watching it, no matter what it is.
Also from the article, you mentioned playing Chess with your dad. Do you still enjoy playing Chess?
Hmm...I do enjoy chess..But I don't play much right now.
You've mentioned your dogs in the past. What kind of dogs do you have?
I have 3 dogs right now. Willy is a rotweiller mix, who invented a game in the house whereby he gets to the window to bark at the mailman without ever touching the ground. So it's dining table, chair , coffee table, couch and to the window. I've come home late at night to find him standing with all fours on the dining room table, like a man looking for high ground. He's a bit of a rascal.

Finnegan my chow mix is the sweetest , smartest, and most intuitive of my pack. She's a mind reader, very attuned to the subtleties of my voice. I never have to scold her, talking to her is always enough.

And Jack is my old beagle basset hound . He's 12 years old and still hops around like a gazelle. And when I say 'hops' around I'm not exaggerating!Think "Boing!". He defies gravity and it's insane to watch him. He's a sweet little rascal, ears flopping , round belly rolling, short legs jumping kind of guy. Jack also snores very loudly at night.

Do you have a favorite actor or actress and if so what do you like about them?
Uhmm. No. I have no favorites- not really. I'm more likely to have favorite directors like Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorcese. And the Coehn Brothers to name a few. And I appreciate great acting. but every actor has his day. And if he's working with a superb director, he's more likely to have it sooner than later. Oh...I guess I admire Cameron Diaz, I've met her. She's a sweetheart and I think she has tremendous talent and has really understood how to mastermind her career and keep herself a likeable lovely person.
What actor or actress would you like to work with and why?
I always thought I wanted to work with Sean Penn. I think I'd like most now to 'direct' someone like Sean Penn.
Do you have any Pet Peeves?
No...Maybe I do momentarily...But that's my problem and I'd never blame it on another soul.
