Would you have liked to have seen more romantic interaction between
Myra and Hank? |
You guys...Of course...What a chance to explore the difficulties
of the kind of bond that both heals and kills. There was so much to
make of it...
SO MUCH TO understand why people that love each other cannot do
right by each other. Maybe we would have learned to evolve and make
each other happy. Maybe it was inevitable that we would part in the
end. But I think it was unfinished and I do regret not having the
opportunity to understand that dynamic better. yes...It's the love
story that never was. |
Would you have liked to have lived during Quinn times,
why or why not? |
They were tough times, especially for women. Humanity
has come a long long way. I'm not sure I have the stamina to go through
that difficult a life...But I love the wide open spaces. The clothes.
LOL The gentility and chivalry that may have existed back then- I wish
we could bring that back. |
We never saw any of Myra's family on Quinn. If you could
write Myra'shistory for us what would have been her background and
what would have led her to Colorado Springs and a saloon girl life? |
Myra came from a very poor and very large family. She
was the oldest. There was not enough food to go around and Myra left
the family in the hopes of bringing food back to her family and giving
the opportunity for a better life. (Much like the mexican immigrants
we know of these days.)...
Myra never got over missing her family and watching her siblings
grow. She never got over not growing up with them. And likely chance
is that over time, she may have even lost track of where they were
in the world. Myra never fully recovered from that kind of loss.
Myra understood that life was tough.
Horace was an opportunity for her to find a safe place and make
a new family of her own that she would care for with all her heart.
She knew that Horace would never wish anything but the best care
for his family. But maybe....Myra realised that comfort was not enough...Because
I believe that Myra loved Horace dearly...but there must have been
a reason...I don't know...Why did she leave Horace again? LOL...
|
What did you think about the pairing of Myra with Horace? |
I THOUGhT IT WAS LOVELY! I think Horace was a wonderful
soul. I think their love was true. I think it was healthy and that
they meant the best for each other. I think there was real genuine
caring there. I'm glad it happened. I think with Horace, Myra did achieve
part of a dream and it was a very hopeful message to send out- Into
the arms of a lovely soulful caring man- What could be better? |
Who would you have liked to have seen Myra end up with
had it been your choice? Hank or Horace? |
Hank would have had to take on some of the truly caring
attributes that Horace had in order for Myra to stay with him. So...I
don't know...Myra if Myra was truly comvinced that Hank would never
change, she made the right choice in the end. Absolutely. |
Who would you have liked to have seen guest star on Quinn
and why?
|
I would have loved to see Sean Penn guest star on Dr.
Quinn..I just love his true honesty as an actor-his grit. It would
have been a heartrending performance, I'm sure. |
Who did you have the most fun with on the Quinn set in
between scenes? |
Ohhh...Come on now guys! Who on that set wasn't absolutely
gorgeous, thoughtful, kind, and just...Lovely lovely to be around.
I miss them all. Orson, for his wise and open character- and his jokes.
Jim, for his genuine sweetness.
Chad, for his caring quiet self. Hank, for his great company always.
Frank, for his inquisitive and genuine modesty of person. Jonelle,
for her wild and wonderful' out there' humor.
I know I've left people out. But there was real team spirit and
absolutely no one is exempt from the beautiful energy that was created
by our mutual dedication to take advantage of this very very wonderful
time in our lives.
We appreciated what was happening and you guys made us feel like
we should be true to it. And it was an incredible time. Thank you
all for that. For making us feel like this was important and requiring
that we all do our best. |
