Biographies
The Malaria Project is a Film Documentary intended for Theatrical and Television release.
It explores the scourge of Malaria in developing countries such as Africa, South Africa, India and South America in an effort to raise questions about how this disease affects these countries socially, politically, and economically. We will look at how the United States and other well-developed countries are indirectly if not directly affected by this global disease. A worldwide selection of scientists, environmentalists, environmental agencies, politicians, economists, businesspersons, victims, families of victims, and the common population will be brought together to create both a broad and intricate understanding of Malaria and its impact on society. The life cycle of the Plasmodium parasite and its pathophysiology will be reviewed. The discovery, history, use, of chemical agents employed to control the Anopheles mosquito, the major vector of Malaria, will be well investigated and the carcinogenic effect these chemicals have on humans, wildlife, and their true impact on the environment will also be of major concern, as these issues influence the world’s view of Malaria.
