He was born William Shockley on September 17th in Lawrence, Kansas. However,

Science. After college, he moved on to Paris and Milan for four months
and upon his return to the States, he began seriously pursuing his passion
for the arts. He relocated to Dallas and enrolled in acting classes. His

But William is best known for his portrayal on Dr. Quinn Medcine Woman, which ran for six seasons, starting in 1993. William played the moody salon/brothel owner Hank Lawson, a favourite among Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman fans. Besides keeping busy with acting, William also plays rhythm guitar writes lyrics and sings lead for an L.A. based band called Seedy Side which released it's first CD in March of 2005. If that isn't enough to keep him busy, he also pens screenplays and writes novels. He is also part-owner of a four- star rated restaurant in Austin, Texas which is called the Cafe Josie. Maybe that's why this gorgeous guy is still single. |
