Adam is an actor who has appeared in guest star roles on shows such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Law and Order and CSI Miami. Adam attended Lynchburg College and the Eugene O'Neill Center's National Theater Institute. Adam and his partner Poppy Montgomery welcomed a son, Jackson Phillip Kaufman, on December 23, 2007 in Los Angeles.
