"Our family of brands is proud to be associated with someone of Ms. Seymour's acclaim and stature, and are even more pleased to energize The Creative Self-Expression Foundation with this level of celebrity support."
As an internationally recognized actress, artist, author and arts advocate, Seymour helps The Creative Self-Expression Foundation foster a more exciting relationship with high school students and the community. The foundation stimulates the creative growth and development of each student promoting self-esteem and critical thinking with the support of Seymour, The Great Frame Up and their community.
Seymour became involved with art about 10 years ago when she began painting and found it to be an avenue of expression. Her passion for art led her to become more involved with art education, and an advocate for all children encouraging self-expression through art and creativity. Her family's tradition of creative gift-giving is translated through her involvement with charities including American Red Cross; City Hearts; Childhelp, USA; Entertainment Industries Foundation/Permanent Charities; Sunrise Children's Hospital Foundation; Make-a-Wish Foundation; and the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation.
The Creative Self-Expression initiative encourages participation on behalf of area schools, teachers, parents and high school students. The foundation is passionate about recognizing and developing creativity in young people through this philanthropic effort to raise awareness of the importance of art education in high schools.
