Independent Living Legacy Award

CRI's Independent Living Legacy Award recognizes exceptional service to advance the rights of people with disabilities and ensure their full participation in their communities. Our 2006 Award will be presented posthumously to Christopher Reeve. Jane Seymour and her husband, James Keach, who were his close friends, will accept the award in his honor. Major sponsors and VIP Ticket holders will be invited to attend an exclusive VIP Reception immediately prior to the event where they will have the opportunity to meet Ms. Seymour and Mr. Keach.

Birthday Celebration

In addition to celebrating our 30th Anniversary, we will celebrate Tom Farrell's 80th Birthday. Tom has advocated for people with disabilities in Sonoma County for over 50 years, and has served on disability committees on the State and National level.

Honoring CRI Founders

CRI was started in 1976 by group of people with disabilties and their supporters. The first office was a donated garage. The organization now has offices in Santa Rosa, Ukiah and Napa. Founders who will be honored at the event include George Greco, Kerri Knaus, Peter Leech and Anthony Tusler.
