National Museum of Women in the Arts 2006 Fall Benefit with Featured Guest Jane Seymour

The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) (Washington, DC) officially kicks off its 20th Anniversary year (1987-2007) with its ninth annual Fall Benefit on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 6 p.m. Joining benefit-goers will be featured guest, actress and artist Jane Seymour.

Seymour, a passionate painter, who picked up a brush nearly 10 years ago, will meet and greet benefit patrons who also will have the opportunity to purchase some of her original watercolors and oil paintings.

In addition to cocktails, dinner and dancing to the swing rhythms of one of DC's Premier bands, Chane Link, the National Museum of Women in the Arts will hold a jewelry and wine fair as part of the festivities. Benefit-goers can browse and buy fine vintages and pick up that ring, set of earrings, bracelet or necklace for that certain someone.

Ticket prices are $250 each, $500 each for preferred seating, $4,000 for a table of eight with preferred seating and $5,000 for a table of 10 with preferred seating. Proceeds benefit the Shenson Chamber Music Concerts, a free music series featuring women composers and performers. The series' Artistic Directors are Gilan Tocco Corn and Linda Hohenfield Slatkin.

Fall Benefit sponsorship support is provided by FedEx Corporation and SunTrust Bank Inc. Fall Benefit Co-Chairs are Irene Natividad and Gina F. Adams.
