It's all me!

For 35 years Jane has resisted the temptation to film "intimate" scenes. "It seemed a little insane to be doing it now that I'm in my 50s," she said. "But I wanted to appeal to this generation"

Over the course of her 35 years in movies, British actress Jane Seymour has earned a reputation as one of the world's most ladylike performers. The big screen veteran has now decided to throw caution to the wind, however, by filming her first ever topless scene at the age of 54.

In the romantic comedy Wedding Crashers Jane plays an alluring older woman who sets about seducing a much younger man. "I have never done anything like this in my life and it seemed a little insane to be doing it now that I'm in my 50s," confessed the actress. "But I wanted to appeal to this generation. The script was the funniest thing I'd ever read. I thought the topless scene in particular was the funniest moment in the whole movie."

The performer, who is best known for her work in Dr Quinn: Medicine Woman, was so eager to land the role that she was prepared to push the boat out. "I had to do something I hadn't done for 30 years – audition," revealed the former Bond girl. "I had to figure out what to wear to let them know I was brave enough to do this, so I was wearing a black bra with a lacy little top which I could take off during the audition so they could see I was okay. It's not a body double at all – what you see on the screen is all mine!"

Starsky And Hutch actor Owen Wilson is the young hunk who finds himself unable to resist Jane's advances, while Vince Vaughan, Will Ferrell and Christopher Walken round out the all-star cast.
