LES ALEXANDER (Executive Producer) – Les Alexander has produced enough movies-for-television to have lost count, including “Switched at Birth,” “More Sex & the Single Mom,” and “Picture Perfect.” Almost all were made with his friend and former partner of 25 years, Don Enright. Along the way they won a Best Picture Emmy for “Caroline” and several nominations for the mini-series “Family Pictures.” In 2007, Alexander teamed up with another friend, investment wizard Jonathan Mitchell, to produce feature films and of course, the occasional television movie.
The first fully-financed feature from Alexander/Mitchell Productions is the tentatively titled “Who Do You Love,” directed by multiple Tony award-winner Jerry Zaks, about the musical revolution fomented by Leonard Chess and Chess Records Chicago in the 1950s. The anticipated release is Fall 2008. “Dear Prudence” is a two-hour introduction to television’s newest, and hopefully most successful female sleuths.
