"I wanted to return to the era of romance and turn-of-the-century elegance that I treasure, and give it a contemporary refinement that will suit any home," said Jane Seymour. "This magnificent hotel and island in Northern Michigan has special meaning to me, not only for its style, but also as the location for one of my favorite movies, Somewhere in Time."

The focus of each collection is on a wardrobe for the bed with layers of quilts, reversible print comforters, matching sheets in a luxurious silk / cotton blend and a sumptuous assortment of decorative pillows with lace, ruffles and hand-stitched embroidery.

Complementing each iconic collection are a group of decorative accessories for the bedroom, bath and beyond, including silver tea pot lamps, Victorian cut-crystal clocks, vases and candlesticks; silk floral arrangements; and a white wrought iron bistro table and chairs. And for the first time, the collection will include Egyptian cotton bath towels in island soft pastels, and a selection of pure, white down comforters and duvets.

Jane talks more about her new Grand Hotel Collection

The Carriage Collection—named to pay homage to the horse-drawn carriages that transport visitors to the island—is pure white on white touched with exquisite taupe-stitched embroidery on the comforter, dust ruffle and pillows.
The Veranda Collection blends bronze and ivory to create a boudoir look that glows with romance, and celebrates the Grand Hotel's famous front porch—the longest in the world.
The Mackinac Island Collection is a tribute to the lush Victorian gardens surrounding the Grand Hotel, reinterpreted in an elegant "Tree of Life" pattern with birds, butterflies and ivy.
