Jane tells' I thought I was going to die"

With three failed marriages behind her and having almost died delivering twins at 44, Jane Seymour is back and better than ever stripping off for her new film.

She's been out of the spotlight for some time but now at 54, English rose, Jane Seymour has just powered her way back onto the A - list after daring to appear naked on screen for the first time in her 40 year career.

In the romantic comedy, Wedding Crashers, Jane plays a man-hungry matron seducing a younger man- played by hunky, Owen Wilson, no less.

After a devestating divorce in 1992, which left her questioning everything, "it felt like the end of my life," - Jane's now happier than ever with fourth husband James Keach and says she's ready to take Hollywood on again.

The mother of four reveals how she manages to look so fit and fabulous, as well as sharing the harrowing double birth experience that nearly killed her.

What is your fitness secret?

I don't have a personal trainer. I'm not obsessed with any kind of food thing. I don't smoke cigarettes ever, I do everything in moderation and I really love life. I'm kind of passionate about a lot of things. I've got young kids so I get to run after them.

How old are they?

Twins, John and Kris are nine, a nineteen-year old son, Sean, and a daughter, Katie, 23, now acting; whose a clone of me in my 20s.

You were 44 when you had the twins. It's not unusual now, but back then you were a kind of pioneer.

It was insane. After I had the babies I won the Golden Globe and I was looking very thin and everyone was obsessed with how much weight I'd lost. I went, "Hold on guys, you don't understand. I nearly died having these twins." I had pre- eclampsia, which is what you get when you're older and you're having babies. But I'm really glad that I did. Sometimes I have to take high blood pressure medication but it's not a big deal. I'm just so excited that I have these two people in my life.

How do you balance work and family?

Usually one of us, my husband or I, is with the kids. I turn down work down quite often because I can't spend so much time without my family.
