Entertainment for the evening was provided by Jennifer Youngs (Ingrid on the DQ Show) and Ronnie Champagne. We left there about 10:30pm exhausted but having enjoyed our time visiting with so many.

Sunday we had breakfast in the hotel and then with Trudy headed out to Huntington Gardens where Jane was part of an art show. We saw some of her paintings and then roamed the gardens for only a short while ... It was HOT HOT HOT! Temp was 102! The Rose Garden was gorgeous!

After the gardens we grabbed a late lunch and then headed with Trudy to the airport where we dropped her off for her redeye flight home. Then it was time for me to drive and we started back to San Diego. When we arrived, very tired but relaxed, we did a quick unpack etc. and caught up on our books which we hadn't had much chance to read.

All in all a great weekend and a great time to get away for a bit.
